NCIS: Origins is coming soon, and the series will feature many familiar faces!
- The NCIS prequel CBS series, set in 1991, will focus on how the character of Leroy Jethro Gibbs became who he is today.
- The show stars Gibbs as “a newly assigned special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office, where he makes his way into a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS veteran Mike.”
Shawn Harmon said, “The character of Gibbs has been an important part of my life for 20 years, having watched my father create the role and having the honor of being the first person to play young Gibbs myself.” “I always felt there was a story worth telling about her early years, so I’m thrilled to step into the role of a producer alongside Gina, David, and my dad as we tell this story and explore this beloved building.” Bringing out the character.” Revealing a new side.”
The Scottish actor was the last remaining original cast member of the show following the exit of series lead Mark Harmon at the beginning of season 19. (Sean Murray, as Special Agent Timothy McGee, and Dietzen both started out as recurring.)
‘NCIS: LA’ Star Daniela Ruha Returns to ‘NCIS’ Universe to Direct Two Episodes
The actress, who played Kensi Bailey in the spinoff that ran for 14 seasons last May, is directing two episodes in the NCIS universe. She is directing an episode of NCIS this month that will air in March, followed by an episode of NCIS: Hawaii in February that will air in April.
She tells Deadline, “Kensi was born as a character on NCIS 15 years ago, so now as a director, it’s such an honor to step onto that set again with that incredible cast and crew. Yes. That’s the thing. The thing is.” “There are so many familiar faces and people I love and they have welcomed me with open arms. It’s like coming home.”
